Jacqui and James decided to have their pre-wedding photography shoot in Little Easton, Essex where they planned to get married a few weeks later. Jacqui grew up in the area and thought it would be a great opportunity to capture some special photos here. They have since moved to Manchester together so it was the perfect opportunity to capture some pre-wedding memories in this Essex village.
As the church where they were getting married at is just around the corner- it was also the perfect location for us to explore before the big day. We explored the corn fields, the lake and greenery and trees around it as well as checked out the church. It's a beautiful, quaint little village and Jacqui and James are absolute naturals at this creative documentary photography lark!
It's a great idea to have your pre-wedding session at your venue because it gives us the chance to have a good look around and potentially works out some plans and logistics for the day. Usually I can advise the best way to create a great confetti shot with the layout of the church and grounds, the best location for any group photos, as well as scout out some potential locations for your couple portraits on the day.
I photographed their wedding at Little Easton Church and the Reid Rooms and it was an incredible day! They had an Alice in Wonderland theme with afternoon tea. Jacqui's dress was simply stunning, not to mention her gold shoes and wild bouquet of flowers! Seriously, so much pretty!
