With all the snow fall we had last week, I was itching to get out and photograph a session in all the white prettiness! Understandably, a lot of people are not up for traipsing around in this weather haha. It's not the easiest weather to get about in and it means wrapping up warm for the photos.
Mel and Mark's pre-wedding photography session was already scheduled in for Saturday at Hampstead Heath. I thought I better get in touch to check that they still wanted to go ahead, what with the weather being so bad. Secretly, I knew they would be totally up for some winter fun and we were all really excited about this snowy pre-wedding session at Hampstead Heath.
When I arrived at Kenwood House, it was crazy busy over there with lots of kids and families enjoying the snow with their sledges and dogs running around. Even though it had started to thaw out, the park looked absolutely stunning covered in white snow.
When Mel and Mark arrived we went for a walk around Hampstead Heath and I caught up with all the wedding plans. I love getting to know my clients and I am super excited about Mel and Mark's wedding at Sopwell House this year! I cannot wait to see it all come together and see these two little love birds tie the knot!
I hear Mel has mentioned quite a few times that Mark didn't manage to get down on one knee when he proposed. So he wanted photographic evidence of him finally doing it haha. So this one's for you Mel.
If you haven't had a chance to visit Hampstead Heath, you need to go! It's such a beautiful park and I'm looking forward to having more pre-wedding photography sessions here over the next few months. It will be lovely to see the change in weather and how different the photos look too.
