Reid Rooms Wedding Venue
Jacqui and James married at a beautiful little church in Little Easton village and held their evening reception at The Reid Rooms in Dunmow. It was a gorgeous September day last year and it was the ultimate relaxed and informal wedding celebration! I absolutely loved it!
The Reid Rooms is such a stunning Barn venue and has a beautiful outdoor area for informal reception drinks. Jacqui got ready here before the ceremony and it was a really chilled morning. I am absolutely in LOVE with all of Jacqui's styling. Her gold leaf Vivienne Westwood shoes are simply incredible! Her embellished dress was the perfect choice for her and that veil!! Simply stunning.
I am absolutely mad for these colourful wild flowers too! I have never seen such a stunning bouquet and the perfect colour palette for a sunny September wedding.
I loved the church service at Little Easton church too. The vicar is incredibly friendly and funny. He even sang a song for Jacqui and James, which I thought was a beautiful touch. Afterwards we explored the lake and grounds opposite the church for some lovely photos of the bride and groom, which was 100% worth the 5 minutes we spent there! It's a beautiful location and made for some unique and personal images for Jacqui and James, as this is where Jacqui grew up.
Jacqui and James planned an Alice in Wonderland theme for their Reid Rooms wedding. This involved jam tarts, afternoon tea and lots of little decor details throughout the venue.
James insisted the best men exaggerated a lot of the stories during their speech, but I have my suspicions! haha.
When the sun was setting we took our opportunity to take some lovely couple photographs at the Reid Rooms. Jacqui and James practiced their first dance unprompted whilst the guests were not in view and it made for some stunning moments captured!
The first dance was really something special! It was a fantastic surprise and so well planned out and no doubt rehearsed a lot! But it was worth it! The guests were wowed and these two are super talented dancers!
