We had to re-schedule Aimee and Rob's engagement session several times due to bad weather! But as it happens it was totally worth it, because when we finally did go ahead with it, the weather was awesome! It was a beautiful sunny day with lovely soft light and gorgeous Autumn colours. Autumn is just the BEST time of year. I fall in love with the season every time it comes around. The light is so dreamy at this time of year. It was perfect and I loved capturing this pre-wedding session for them! I am honestly so excited for their winter wedding at Gaynes Park in February! I have been waiting to shoot there again for FOREVER!
I have shot at Laindon Country Park a few times now and its such a stunning location. I always visit different parts with families and couples and each part brings a new view. Country parks are a great location for pre-wedding/ engagement photo sessions because they are generally quite quiet if you go to the right spots, meaning you don't feel too silly having your photo taken in front of lots of people. Also, the views and unruly locations are stunning and make fantastic memories to keep on your wall at home.
Aimee and Rob were pros during their session. It was so much fun chatting with them about their wedding plans and getting excited about all the ideas they have put together for the big day. It was so relaxed and enjoyable and we managed to capture some really natural moments between them. The secret to a good pre-wedding session is it's all about being yourselves and enjoying the time spent together. No pressure, no formality, no silly posing.
