Still on a high after photographing Laura and Kevin's stunning wedding at Braxted Park Estate on Saturday! There was talk of the Beast from the East returning for the occasion but thankfully it was just a few rainy showers which did not affect the fun and celebrations one bit.
Braxted Park is a gorgeous country house set in the countryside of Witham, Essex. The grounds and orangery are gorgeous even in the rainy months of early Spring! And Janet the co-ordinator on the day was an absolute trooper. She is so organised and so lovely to work with, I'm sure Laura and Kevin will agree on this.
But firstly, Laura's Enzoani Wedding dress. Just WOW. The elegant and sophisticated design of Laura's embellished dress blew me away. She looked absolutely incredible and I love the low back detail too. She absolutely nailed this elegant look.
The girls were super chilled during the bridal preparations in the morning and it was a great morning. Kevin very thoughtfully sent Laura some gifts to open, one of which was this ginormous wine glass bigger than Laura's head haha. I think he may know his wife a bit too well ;)
It was a great start to the day and everything flowed from there. Despite the weather we even managed to get outside for a brief amount of time to capture some natural photos of the two of them, which was totally worth it, with such a gorgeous venue and grounds like Braxted Park to take advantage of.
As the evening went on, everyone drank, ate and enjoyed the reception to the fullest. The speeches were fantastic and everyone had a great laugh and maybe even a cry at some of the words shared by Kevin, Laura's Dad and best man Steven.
When the party kicked off with band, it went OFF! It was so much fun and great to see everyone get involved in the party and enjoy the night away. I think Laura and Kevin definitely have the perfect crowd of family and friends to get the party going!
