I was looking forward to coming back to Houchins wedding venue all year as I absolutely LOVED working there last year! It is a gorgeous farmhouse in Coggeshall set in beautiful grounds and is THE most stunning venue in the summer! The gardens are so well kept and are the perfect setting for a chilled out garden wedding like Gill and Robs.
Gill had such an elegant dress with a lace attachment across the top half, designed by Sassi Holford. Her pink suede shoes are so classy and her ivory and green flowers finished off the look.
I absolutely loved the ceremony at Gill and Rob's wedding. Rob is such a big softie and I knew he would struggle to keep it together when he saw how incredible his gorgeous wife to-be looked as her son walked her down the aisle. The best part for me was when they danced down the aisle together as husband and wife to 'Best Day of my Life' by American Authors. It was so hard to keep a dry eye!
The rest of the day just flowed, it was so relaxed and informal and I loved capturing those candid moments between Gill and Rob. It was an intimate wedding just a small group of guests and on such a stunning August day, what more could you want? It was was a wedding photographer's dream.
But, Gill and Rob- what can I say?! You are such and inspiration to me and I'm so glad I've gotten to know you during the lead up to the wedding. Their love is endless and unmistakeable and I only hope that I am half as happy as these two are when I am their age. They are so wonderful to be around and I enjoyed every second of capturing such a chilled out, informal wedding. I was in my element documenting the whole day in the candid way that I love and the way that Gill and Rob wanted to remember this day.
