The Old Marylebone Town Hall Chilled London Wedding

When Sophie and James got in touch about photographing their chilled London wedding I was super excited because I knew it would be the informal and relaxed kind of wedding I love to photograph. These two are so laid back! Nothing phases them and they just wanted their wedding to be as honest and fun as possible for their guests.

I'm pretty sure when they booked their March wedding at the Old Marylebone Town Hall, they didn't expect SNOW! But it definitely made it an even more memorable day. The snow fell ALL DAY.

Sophie got ready at The Ritz London which was super fancy! Unfortunately, James wasn't so lucky and due to the snowy weather his hotel had no heating and no hot water! Not ideal on the morning of your wedding haha. But of course he took it in his stride and there was no bother at all.

The Old Marylebone Town Hall is stunning registry office venue in the heart of London. The staff there are so welcoming and friendly and super relaxed about photography and making it the best possible experience for the Bride and Groom. Sophie and James had an intimate ceremony with around 40 guests which was so lovely to be a part of.

After the ceremony, everyone jumped in taxis to the Clarette Wine Bar a 10 minuted drive away. It's a beautiful intimate and cosy venue in the heart of West London. Also, the food was IMMENSE! If you're ever in the area you have to check it out.

After dinner, we all made our way to the reception venue- an awesome London pub called the Larrik, where all 100+ of Sophie and James' evening guests were waiting for them. More canapés and plenty of drinks went round and everyone enjoyed the relaxed environment of the pub and a trio band that sang into the evening.
