I know I keep saying it... but I LOVE Autumn!!! Seriously, it's just the best time of year. The colours during this season are unbeatable. So you can imagine how excited I was when Carly and Andrew said that they wanted to have their pre-wedding session in a woodland during Autumn! Eeek! I love ideas this this. A lot of people tend to go for the summer season but generally I find Spring and Autumn so much more colourful and beautiful for photo shoots.
I grew up near these woods in Romford, Essex and I know they look gorgeous all year round, but I thought it would be the perfect setting for this Autumnal pre-wedding shoot. The ground is covered in golden leaves and the light was perfect under the canopy of the woodland. It didn't stop drizzling with rain throughout the session but it didn't matter one bit. Coats and brollies are what this time of year is all about!
Carly and Andrew were so laid back about the weather and totally embraced it. The colours they selected to wear for the session co-ordinated perfectly and really compliments the time of year. This is something many people forget to consider when planning their pre-wedding session! These two are simply awesome and absolute naturals. Nothing phases them! I loved working with them and getting to know them a bit more and hearing all about the wedding plans.
I'm super excited to be photographing their wedding at Blake Hall in Ongar, Essex next year!! It's such a stunner of a venue and I can't wait to see what they do with it. I can tell already it's going to be awesome. Carly is so creative and has such great style it's really going to be something special. Watch this space for their wedding post soon!
