Fabrica Gallery Brighton Wedding Venue
I was so overwhelmed when Rosie got in touch and asked me to photograph her and Kourosh's wedding at Fabrica Gallery in Brighton. Rosie and I used to work in Snappy Snaps together when we were young and we always had such a laugh together with our little Snappy Snaps family. I was so touched that she asked me to photograph her wedding 10 years later, as being in the creative industry themselves, I'm sure there are plenty of people they could have asked the honours. I was SO excited to be a part of their day and meet Rosie's love- Kourosh.
Rosie and Kourosh married on 30th November- right on the cusp of Christmas, so they went for a classy touch of Christmas and a winter theme with golden orange and red tones with navy. They had lots of lights to light up the venue which also had a festive and warm and cosy winter wedding feel.
They really wanted an alternative Winter wedding at Fabrica Gallery in Brighton. They kept it simple and married at The Brighton Old Town Hall which is beautiful and grand in itself. We went for a stroll to the seafront and a walk through the lanes for their couple portraits which was great fun. You can't beat Brighton for an alternative and quirky backdrop.
The reception venue was a gorgeous old converted chapel called Fabrica Gallery right in the heart of Brighton and a two minute walk from the Town Hall. Fabrica is the most beautiful venue with so much quirk and charm. Rosie and Kourosh with the help of lots of friends and family and amazing suppliers, decorated the venue and set it up the day before and they truly created something special. It was breathtaking to see when you walked in. The golden tones of the flowers and all the lighting created such a warmth and beauty to the huge space.
The evening consisted of a pub quiz, great food, fantastic speeches, lots of laughter and some badass dancing with Jeremy Corbyn haha. It was perfect and I'm sure everything they hoped for.
Rosie and Kourosh thank you so much for having us along to capture your day. It really was so heartwarming to be there and to capture so many funny and lovely memories for you.
Big thanks to Sally Faith Photography for Second Shooting and helping out.
