My foundation in photography many years ago was built on film; shooting on 35mm, medium format and large format. There’s nothing quite like returning to those roots and remembering why I loved it so much. Analogue photography has a magic all its own - the intention behind every shot, the thought, the precision, and the anticipation of seeing the final images. Nothing else quite captures the true aura of film: the grain, the colour, the texture, and the timeless aesthetic. It’s truly unique.
For weddings, I offer 35mm film as an add-on to my digital photography collections, blending the best of both worlds. I shoot primarily on a Contax G1, using Kodak Portra film stock to capture warmth, softness, and depth in every frame. The result is wedding photography that feels intimate, authentic, and cinematic - images you’ll treasure forever.
