Savannah's Newborn Photography Session, Laindon, Essex
Meet the prettiest little girl Savannah! She was already 4 weeks old when I photographed her, so slightly older than the usual newborn shoot. This simply meant that she was more awake and alert than when the baby is within the suggested 10 day old bracket. I strongly believe it is unsafe to pose babies whilst they are awake, as one small movement could mean they will fall out of the pose. So I tend to stick with more simple poses and use some cute props such as teddies when this is the case. I will also try swaddling the baby which usually gets them nice and cosy and comfortable enough to drift off to sleep- it worked a treat with Savannah, as you can see! :)
As part of the newborn session, I also always include a few parents shots at no extra charge if this is something my clients are looking for. I think it's such a beautiful memory to preserve in a photograph at such a special time in this new family's lives, it would be such a shame not to! Check out the gorgeous shot of Savannah and her Daddy at the end.
I would highly recommend Danielle, she is very professional, has unusual ideas & is very patient & will do her upmost to capture those beautiful memories. - Sandra, Mummy to Savannah
