Location Hunting For Upcoming Bridal Shoot
So this week I went to Walton-on-the-Naze to choose a location for next week's beach setting Bridal Shoot. Exciting to say the least!
So here's the idea:
To create a gorgeous vintage styled Wedding Inspiration shoot on the Essex Coast. I have a wonderful stylist involved; Joelle Nobis, who is French and loves everything vintage! She has a gorgeous blush pink vintage wedding dress for the shoot, alongside some Chester Barrie Formal wear for the 'groom'. We have on board also, a fabulous hair and make up artist, Anita Winrow. As well as a great floristry duo; two sisters, Kylie and Laken from Essex Flower Belles, and a fantastic Cake maker; Tracy from Tracy-s T-cakes. The two models are both from Triple Threat UK, Megan Goncalves and Csaba Gyori, bride and groom :)
If you'd like to get more of an idea of the theme, poses and lighting etc, that we will be working towards on the shoot, please take a look at my Pinterest mood board.
The first location I spotted is on the cliff tops by the Naze Marine tower.
I love the height and the overlooking of the sea in this location, despite the gale force winds!
Mum being a fantastic assistant and model for the day :)
The second spot I loved is down by the sea, with the crashing waves, the cliff fronts and the gritty beach. It really is a beautiful sight.
Luckily the sun eventually decided to show up and it was beautiful!... creating some stunning natural light shots! Let's just hope the same happens on the day of the shoot :)
Walton Beach huts. These pretty little colourful huts could potentially work perfectly with the vintage theme! Let's see what happens on the day! :)
The final spot I'd love to use on the day of the shoot is the smoother, calmer part of the beach. I plan to shoot here as the sun goes down into the evening, setting up a lovely picnic scene on the sand, with a large patchwork throw, lots of cushions, flowers, cakes, and lots of pretty little details.
Thanks Mum! haha
Very excited for the shoot and very much looking forward to working with such a wonderful team! I will keep you updated and you will see the final images right here on my blog! so do come back soon to see the results.
