Wedding at St Dunstan in the East and The Gherkin

Wedding Photography at St Dunstan in the East and The Gherkin, London

From the moment Naomi and Alex booked me to photograph their London wedding, I was counting down the days until it arrived!! The wedding venues were St Dunstan in the East and the Gherkin?! Absolute dream London wedding venues for me! (and probably a lot of other Wedding Photographers!) I knew, what with Naomi being an event planner by job, it was going to be incredible! And even still, it blew away all my expectations! It was a gorgeous day at three of the most breath taking venues in London!

Naomi and Alex really wanted a documentary approach to their wedding photography which worked perfectly with my natural style. The soft pink theme was a gorgeous choice for a summer garden wedding. The wedding drinks reception at St Dunstan in the East was so laid back and I loved capturing the atmosphere throughout. And the views from the Gherkin at sunset during a wedding are mind blowing! I will never forget this one.

Here are just a few shots from Naomi and Alex's gorgeous summer wedding at St Dunstan in the East...

St Dunstan in the East Wedding Venue

I absolutely loved working at this St Dunstan in the East wedding! The London wedding venue is the remains of an old church which have now been made into public gardens that are available to hire for your wedding reception/ ceremony. Just something to bear in mind- you can’t officially get married at St Dunstan in the East as it is not sanctioned for weddings, but lots of people choose to have their drinks reception here or have a humanist celebrant ceremony instead. The gardens are so beautiful and the historic remains of the church really make this a unique wedding venue and a little gem of peace in the centre of the busy city of London.
